Proper Use and Maintenance

Every dehumidifier needs proper usage and maintenance to support its long-lasting capability. Here are some safety tips for using and maintaining it:
· Before using it, keep it steady in an upright position for about 30 minutes to allow the refrigerant and other internal components to settle
· If the unit is newly delivered, let it settle for about 12 hours before using it
· Make sure that your desired area is well-sealed by either shutting all windows, vents or using other barriers
· It must be connected to a grounded electric source to avoid accidents and damage
· Make sure you have the right power supply to avoid electrical issues
· It is not suggestible to use an extension cord as well as a power adaptor
· Use the control panel or remote to set your desired level of humidity
· The surface in which it is set to operate must be leveled and steady
· Do not position the discharge and inlet onto a wall
· Never tamper with the internal components while the unit is running
· Always maintain a 6ft. distance from any form of obstruction
· Avoid deploying it in areas with a high amount of corrosive materials
· Make sure to properly unplug it before deploying it to another area
· Never leave it plugged when not in use
· When cleaning, use a damp cloth dipped in mild soap solution in wiping its exterior
· Remember to check the inlet and outlet for any blockages
· Annually check up the coils for maintenance

Our basement had a musty smell. So, I search for a dehumidifier on Amazon. When I found this one, I decided to try it. When it arrived, I unpacked it (the unit was well protected by its packaging) and read the instructions. And we installed the unit in our basement. There was a drain hose to let the water the dehumidifier pulled out of the air and run into the floor drain. Setting the controls was easy, and all it took was a few button presses, and the unit was running. After a few days, the basement's musty smell is gone.

This dehumidifier is perfect. After using it for a week, here are my thoughts: first of all, the unit is mighty. It brought the humidity in my house down. And it's easy to operate. The unit with just a few self-explanatory buttons on the panel, and it can just plug and play. The unit's not loud and works efficiently, so it doesn't have to stay on for too long to get to the humidity level I want. Overall I like it a lot. I live next to the gulf coast, where the humidity is frequently 60%+, which helps drop it down to a more comfortable level.

We bought this dehumidifier for our basement. Before I even plugged in, I read the manual that came with it and realized that you could set the level of humidity you want to suit your need, and you can plug in the water hose to let the leftover water out. After using it for a couple of days, my wife said that when she walked into the basement, she felt relieved to breathe, and her skin was not as dry as before. I will definitely recommend this item to my friends and family! Great job!

We have had numerous dehumidifiers for our 1500-square ft basement, where we keep several bookshelves of books that would deteriorate in high humidity. This dehumidifier is exceptionally efficient, pulling moisture out of the air even when heavy rains are outdoors. Recommend this unit highly. Easy to set up; filter access is easy. We attach a drain hose to the unit so water drips into the downstairs basement drain.

Great dehumidifier! It gets the humidity down very efficiently, and it is a higher quality unit. It comes with an attachable hose to continuously drain the water, so you don't worry about constantly draining it yourself. As far as noise, the unit is quieter than many desktop fans and isn't loud enough to distract you if you're watching tv or listening to music.

Even with the A/C running, our house stays very humid in the summer. In the past, we have had to rely on little containers of moisture absorbent placed in all of our closets to keep things from getting musty. Clothes that we had to hang dry would stay damp. The humidity even makes it hard to dry my hair after a shower! So we knew that we had to do something to get the humidity level down, and this dehumidifier was our choice. After running it for just a little while, the humidity monitor in our house already showed the humidity level goes down, and the unit doesn't take up much room.

Well worth the money. We noticed mold in some damp spots in the basement and figured we needed to go all out. We bought this unit, and it took water out of the air. Amazing! It feels so much better down there now! A must-buy. Just break down and buy it! It's a lot to spend, but what an unbelievable difference.

We bought this dehumidifier, and it has been fantastic! We have a lot of sliding glass doors in our house, and they let in a lot of humidity from outside, so we bought this to help, and it's fantastic. Run it and let it work its magic! There's a definite difference between outside and inside now. And I no longer feel a constant need to wash my face when I'm sitting around at home. It's doable, and the handle is convenient. A bit rattly while running, but I put a felt circle sticker underneath it, which solved the problem instantly.

It works well so far. It only took a few weeks. Mine was checked as the Wi-Fi model on the box and included instructions on how to set up Wi-Fi. When I tried to follow the instructions to set it up, I found that it didn't have the correct control panel to start Wi-Fi. In addition, I am very satisfied with this unit. It does a great job. There is a handle on the top, which is very helpful in reducing the crawl space. Reduce humidity from 57% to 43% in a day or two.
