Proper Use and Maintenance

Every dehumidifier needs proper usage and maintenance to support its long-lasting capability. Here are some safety tips for using and maintaining it:
· Before using it, keep it steady in an upright position for about 30 minutes to allow the refrigerant and other internal components to settle
· If the unit is newly delivered, let it settle for about 12 hours before using it
· Make sure that your desired area is well-sealed by either shutting all windows, vents , or using other barriers
· It must be connected to a grounded electric source to avoid accidents and damage
· Make sure you have the right power supply to avoid electrical issues
· It is not suggestible to use an extension cord as well as a power adaptor
· Use the control panel or remote to set your desired level of humidity
· The surface in which it is set to operate must be leveled and steady
· Do not position the discharge and inlet onto a wall
· Never tamper with the internal components while the unit is running
· Always maintain a 6ft. distance from any form of obstruction
· Avoid deploying it in areas with a high amount of corrosive materials
· Make sure to properly unplug it before deploying it to another area
· Never leave it plugged when not in use
· When cleaning, use a damp cloth dipped in mild soap solution in wiping its exterior
· Remember to check the inlet and outlet for any blockages
· Annually check up the coils for maintenance
· You may use a foaming coil cleaner for cleaning the coils
· Confirm that the cords are cleaned from any debris and are properly wrapped and secured for storage
· Make sure to properly dry it before storing
· If the unit gets flooded, make sure you completely let it dry by carefully opening it before attempting to reconnect it
· Seek professional help for other complex issues
· Never use the unit as a support or stepping stool when reaching high items

I think it's worth it!

It is a compact and energy-efficient unit. I ran it for 24/7 days because the burst pipe impacted our basement. I thought I would overpay my electricity bill this month, but it turned out to be within my comfort zone. It is worth saying that this dehumidifier does an excellent job of dehumidifying. A week later, my basement was dry. I think it's worth it!

I am the owner of a musical instrument shop, and the ground in my shop is wet because of the rainy winter weather. I am worried that my instruments will be affected, such as guitar, ukulele, violin, and piano. The damp air was not kind to the wooden instruments. I purchased this dehumidifier after doing some research and following some advice from friends. Overall, I was pleased with its strong dehumidification capability and its ease of operation. The shop floor became dry, and the air seemed to lose its musty smell. Worth with money!

We bought this dehumidifier for our odor basement. Because of the rainstorm, the rain droplet seeps into the basement. So, even though we dry the basement, it still has a musty smell. I was impressed by this unit, and it can be adjusted to the ideal humidity setting to eliminate the moisture and odor. In addition, it comes with a MERV-8 filter that can protect our basement from dust, and I could feel the fresh air in the basement. If you're looking for a compact and durable dehumidifier, I will recommend this one! And you won't regret it.

For the price, you’re getting a lot here. This thing puts out some really dry air, effectively. Make sure you allow some height difference for the gravity drain. The unit is very compact and had no issues fitting into my tight crawl space.

We love our dehumidifier, and it's not noisy. Also, it works great, and we have it in the damp basement. It works great, and it took my humidity from 70% to 40%. After some dusty work was done, I had to clean the filter, but it was super easy and still works great.

My friend owns an HVAC business that recommended this dehumidifier to me a year ago, and I finally followed up on it. I wish I would've done it right because it made such a huge difference in how nice and dry the air feels when you walk in the basement now. No more musky smell! I was surprised by how much moisture/water this thing started pulling out of the air shortly after plugging in the little clear drain hose was full and dumping in the sump pit—excellent quality. Money WELL Spent!

This dehumidifier can extract moisture from the air incredibly fast, and it fits perfectly in my basement. Super convenient and effective. I purchased a different dehumidifier at first, but it did nothing to help. So, I returned it and ordered this dehumidifier. It works well, and it brings down the humidity pretty significantly. I am satisfied with the quality and consistency of this product. Great value for the money.

We have been running the Alorair dehumidifier for only two days, and there is a marked improvement. It works great! It has eliminated the musty odor and other smells coming from the unfinished basement and appears to help the HVAC work more efficiently. Overall this is a really good product, and I highly recommend it.

I haven't had this dehumidifier for long，, but I really like this one. This dehumidifier has helped so much with the humidity in my house.
