Wi-Fi Connect

Remote control of the APP and the device can be done via Wi-Fi. But before that, you need to know some tricks for pairing:
1) Before you connect, you need to be close enough so that the signal won't break on the wall or insulation of the house
2) Buy an extra Wi-Fi mesh or repeater to increase the signal strength to make the pairing of the devices more successful
3) The app currently supports only 2.4 GHz network. Please turn off the 5 GHz network on the router to make the connection work more smoothly.

Direct Connect

When you connect your device via the direct connection mode of APP, you only have an effective distance of 40m. Therefore, it's fast and easy in a network-free environment.

You can either choose to connect to your dehumidifier via WiFi or direct connection. Both options will let you control your device remotely, but choosing to connect your mobile directly to the unit using our smart app will only provide you with a limited range of control. On the other hand, if you connect your unit to your home WiFi network using our smart app, you will have the liberty to fully control it even from a faraway location. Remember that in using the app, it is necessary to have a WiFi connection with 2.4GHz.

How the Alorair Storm Elite Works

Alorair Storm Elite is fitted with a humidity level sensing device called a humidistat. The purpose of the feature is to automatically detect when your space needs drying. Once the air conditions fall outside the specs set on the humidistat, the machine automatically draws air across the evaporator coils. The coil cools the air and condenses it into a liquid form. In a continuous process, the air is passed over a dry and hot coil before it is pumped back into the space around the room.

I have been dealing with a serious humidity problem in an apartment. Using my own hygrometer, the initial humidity was in the range of 85% to 87%, and it even got moldy on the wooden surfaces of my sofa, coffee table, and kitchen. Fortunately, after extensive online research, I decided to buy an AlorAir® Storm Elite dehumidifier and it arrived within a week. This product is impressive. So far, after 12 hours of use, the humidity level has dropped to about 52-54%. My apartment is no longer boring, I feel I can breathe without pain. This is an incredible machine. The Storm Elite dehumidifier is easy to move and dehumidifies efficiently. I am not a person who writes many reviews, but this dehumidifier is worth a look! During the quarantine period, we have turned the basement (about 3,000 square feet) into a temporary gym, but as the weather warms and inappropriate moisture enters the house, it is like exercising in a swamp. We purchased the unit based on reviews. We installed it in the basement and we let it run for about four hours. The first thing I noticed was that there was no dew on the walls. This difference is real! The relative humidity has dropped to 50%. A powerful unit is worth recommending.

No, the fans shut off when the set humidity level is reached. But you can set the humidity level which allows the compressor to cycle.
