Connecting the overflow safety switch of a condensation pump to a Sentinal HD55

Back to List

Recently installed a Sentinal HD55 with a separate condensation pump.  The HD55 drainage tube is draining into the pump.  The HD55 has an A5 and A6 Terminal for connecting the overflow safety switch.   The condensation pump Has two terminals labeled COM  and RUN.  How should these be connected?

Aloraire this is not helpful. The website shows no recommended external condensate pumps, so I too like this customer have a commonly used pump - Diversitech LCP-20 that has RUN and COM terminals.  I know that i need to add 24VDC supply to it but you've not made it clear whether the RUN or COM goes to which terminal on the unit, and i'm sure if I blow the control board by wiring it wrong, you won't honor your warranty.  Either point me to your recommended pump on your website or provide more clear answers

A5A6 are signal inputs, which are inputs to the state of the pump. For example, when the water is full, the pump will send a signal to A5A6. There is no inlet and outlet between the two terminals. If you use the pump we recommend, you can choose one of the two wires to connect. We suggest you use our recommended water pump, and other water pumps may not be suitable.
