· Every dehumidifier needs proper usage and maintenance to support its long-lasting capability. Here are some safety tips for using and maintaining it:
· Before using it, keep it steady in an upright position for about 30 minutes to allow the refrigerant and other internal components to settle
· If the unit is newly delivered, let it settle for about 12 hours before using it
· Make sure that your desired area is well-sealed by either shutting all windows, vents or using other barriers
· It must be connected to a grounded electric source to avoid accidents and damage
· Make sure you have the right power supply to avoid electrical issues
· It is not suggestible to use an extension cord as well as a power adaptor
· Use the control panel or remote to set your desired level of humidity
· The surface in which it is set to operate must be leveled and steady
· Do not position the discharge and inlet onto a wall

It is commercial quality and made to last. I have had homeowner quality dehumidifiers for years with bad results. You can watch the water drain from the tube as it runs. Also, by my calculations using the onboard timer, energy ratings and 2 humidity meters, I think it is using less power than my old smaller units. I can bring my basement to any humidity level now.

I own two of these units. Purchased in 2020 and 2021. Both have seen not stop use. I can tell from my humidity monitoring device that they cycle on roughly once an hour except for the dead of winter, I am in SE PA. The older of the two units gets the most use in the basement of a house in the woods. It keeps the basement, garage and entire house at a reasonable humidity level. I could not achieve this with two of the $300 cheap units running nonstop. So, I am sure I am using less energy. I know a few others have had issues with their units, fortunately mine are running perfectly!

I purchased my LGR Extreme in October of 2022 and it worked perfectlv and as promised. 2 weeks ago I started having problems and it would not function properlv. I dealt with a customer service rep (Bobbie) from Alorair and was told to perform a number of tests which I did. Once it was determined the next day that my compressor had gone bad I was shipped me a brand new LGR Extreme which arrived within four davs at NO cost to me. Shipping cost alone is over $150. I am
extremely pleased with the service I received, and the warranty/quarantee that comes with it. I highly recommend this company for your dehumidification needs.
Warning to to potential purchasers. Do not buy from anyone other than Alorair or Amazon.

I recently received this unit. It's very favorably priced for what it's and does. I've had it in use for about 6 days so far. So far it's good. I was't satisfied with the power cord. The cord is detachable. And I don't like detachable cords because they get lost and don't belong to the unit. The flap that covers the connector for the cord looks so cheap and looks like it'll be broken after pulling it out and plugging it back in a few times.

In the last year, I've been using an Alorair Storm LGR Extreme dehumidifier for a fairly large crawl space. The unit has about 290 days of run time to keep the humidity in the room at 46% or better. A really quiet system with WIFI information. On day 366 my system gets an E4 code so I call the Alorair number. Bobby answers the call and doesn't put me through. He helps me troubleshoot and then kindly offers to send me a new pump. She handled the entire process! I'm a very satisfied customer and would recommend this company and its products. They AREN'T cheaply built imitations! These are very sturdy. They can provide service quickly when you met a problem. Great job to this company and satisfying customer service.

This is the perfect size for my parent’s bedroom. After thy use, they keep saying how good and love this dehumidifier is. The dehumidifier was super easy to set up, feels solid, and is well made. The manual is as easy to read and follow as the dehumidifier is to operate. I love the simple, clean lines of the dehumidifier and the compact size makes it fit easily into your living space. This is a really good dehumidifier. It's extremely efficient at its job and does it with a very low noise level. Some dehumidifiers can be quite noisy, this has so far been the quietest of its class. At this point, I feel confident in recommending this humidifier. I plan to order one more for myself.

The item was packaged well. So far I'm very pleased. Can control humidity set point. It came with a drain pipe, so it's hooked up to the drain in the basement, so it does not need to be emptied like other units. Took a while to condense and drain water, maybe a day or two. No power cord was sent with the unit. Nice unit, well worth the money, and I would recommend this product to a friend.

Well worth the money. The other dehumidifier I had was about $250 and would take about a gallon of water daily out of the air in my basement. I thought it was working well. We noticed mold in some damp spots in the basement and figured we needed to go all out. We bought this unit, and in the first 36 hours, it took 9 gallons of water out of the air! I had it draining into a five-gallon pail so I could keep an eye on it so that amount is accurate. Amazing!!! It feels so much better down there now!! A must-buy. Just break down and buy it! It's a lot to spend, but what an unbelievable difference.
