It runs almost continuously where I live, trying to drop the humidity to about 50%. I grabbed a second one for my shop as the size was perfect for adding to my dormer windows. The noise level is reasonable and has a smooth broadband profile with bulk tones around 180Hz.

I ordered this fan to place in my greenhouse because it gets very hot and very humid very fast. It was easy to install and seems to be doing its job very nicely. I like the programmable thermostat and dehumidistat...it just needs set up and it does its thing on its own! It is smaller than I expected, but if helps with the heat and humidity, the $50 price tag is well worth it and I may order another one.

This definitely blows the air...from one space to somewhere else when the humidity reaches a certain level. The adjustable thermostat is measured in percent of humidity. The temperature control is an automatic feature controlled internally, according to the product description.
When this fan runs, it is kind of loud for its size. Kind of sounds like an old window AC. I suppose it would seem quieter if you were way across a room from it.
It is not very large, so it could take a while to move enough hot air to feel the difference. The motor and fan seem powerful for its size. This would be well suited for an attic or storage building, shop space, or just about anywhere a space could benefit from venting the air.
This unit performs well when needing to pull air out from a limited area. It brings value to a space with its air flow outward.
Satisfied with this fan and the air ventilation it provides.

This arrived well boxed & protected, and when you open it up the controls are easy to understand and its mounting frame is also easy to figure out.
We plugged this in and tested it, and other thermometers in the house were within a degree or two of what this unit would be set on in order to activate it.
It is basically plug & play, you just need an outlet fairly close or otherwise be able to run a dedicated cord with an outlet to it.
We tested it, but will install later when we will combine several "attic projects" into a one day event.
This pushes enough air to make a difference in a small attic or otherwise in a crawlspace. We have cathedral ceilings that take away half our attic, but in the remaining space, which happens to be over bedrooms & bathrooms.I expect this to help cool the attic some when the sun is really bearing down.
For a list price of $65.98 when I ordered, with a 5 % off coupon ($3.2995) for a final list price of $62.6905, considering this is very well constructed, control triggers are versatile, & a quick scan looking at other similar exhaust fans, all the facts together seems to point that this is a very good value at $62.69.
