We designed this small, portable dehumidifier for up to 1,000 square feet of space, while keeping the noise level below 55 decibels. It's also suitable for daily dehumidification in small restaurants, stores, machine rooms and other environments.
Note: there are two drainage modes 1. When using the pump drainage mode, you must press the "Drain" key, connect the drain pipe to the drainage port under the filter and block the gravity drainage port.
2. When using gravity drainage mode, turn off the "Drain" key and connect the drain pipe to the frontal drainage port.
GOOD -- I needed a powerful dehumidifier for my basement. This gets the job done and you have the option to discharge via pump or gravity feed, I use the pump and it works great. This little unit is a beast!
ISSUE -- The cabinet on the unit I received is not built tight -- the vibrations from this powerful machine sound like a marine diesel engine. I found that the only way to silence the cabinet was to place about 50 pounds of pressure in the top-center of the cabinet with the palm of my hand. Since I have other things to do, this is impractical long-term -- so I cut a piece of 2x4 and cinched it down tight with a spare nylon strap I had laying around. That cut the overall noise by about 5 decibels (according to an Android sound-meter app). Most importantly, adding the wood block dampened the oscillating vibrations almost entirely -- I can no longer hear the vibrations throughout the house and my basement humidity is under control.

The unit works very well and is not very loud. Defiantly helped with the humidity issue I was having. I am using the gravity drain, so I do not really have any input on the pump to remove water. Can not really go wrong with this one for the price.

Needed a compact dehumidifier for a tight crawlspace. I have used Alorair units in the past and have been happy with the products. This unit does not disappoint one bit. It arrived quickly and we managed to get the unit into the space needed. The fact that the unit is compact relatively light and has a built-in pump it was perfect for this application.

Ordered this dehumidifier for a 1000 square foot garage that has high humidity during the warmer months. Nice compact size with multiple settings for both the humidity controls via a setpoint or continuous mode. Also can be drained by gravity or pump each has its own port and hose. I built a stand for it to keep it off the ground and chose the setpoint and pump mode. Unit can pump up to 19.6 feet. Power with a standard 15 amp outlet (GFCI). Easy to setup and works well as designed.
Will use again in the future.

I am using this dehumidifier for RH control in an archive storage space. I am depending on this unit to function as advertised. The auto drain pump is being used. The condensate water is being pumped out of the space up an eight foot wall, across a hall and into a janitorial closet drain. It is working fine so far. The unit has not been running long.
