Proper Use and Maintenance Every dehumidifier needs proper usage and maintenance to support its long-lasting capability. Here are some safety tips for using and maintaining it:
· Before using it, keep it steady in an upright position for about 30 minutes to allow the refrigerant and other internal components to settle
· If the unit is newly delivered, let it settle for about 12 hours before using it
· Make sure that your desired area is well-sealed by either shutting all windows, vents or using other barriers
· It must be connected to a grounded electric source to avoid accidents and damage
· Make sure you have the right power supply to avoid electrical issues
· It is not suggestible to use an extension cord as well as a power adaptor

I got this dehumidifier for a few reasons, and I am happy with my decision so far. I do need a dehumidifier in my basement at all times, and it was time for a replacement. My house is not huge, but my basement is pavers and dirt, not poured concrete, so it is humid all the time. I like that I know this will be able to handle it. It can handle a lot more too, which is something I liked. My basement, and my mothers basement have both flooded in the past, and having a monster of a dehumidifer like this is a great tool to have in case that happens. I have invested in peace of mind. I also like that this is app controlled so I can check in on the humidity levels and see exactly how it is doing. I am happy to have this so far, and would recommend it.
Highly effective "beast" of a Dehumidifier

I purchased this machine to replace residential dehumidifiers which would only last between 5 and 18 months. When you first unpackage this machine, it is easy to see that it is a heavy duty "beast" by comparison. If you are just trying to use it without the remote access app, you can just plug it in, set the humidity level and place the drain hose and go (as with any standard dehumidifier). The machine is about 50% larger than most residential units and weighs a hefty 99 pounds. However, the large wheels make it easy to maneuver, including over stairs if you are careful. Since the dehumidifier includes a pump to empty the water, it will pump the water as much as 15 feet uphill, through a hose which is about 20 feet long.
So what makes this unit stand out from others? First, there is the free app which connects via WiFi or direct. This allows you to access the controls anywhere you have internet access. Through the app you can control the humidity (target) level setting, see the humidity level and temperature at the intake and output, review the number of working hours, the age of the filter, coil temperature, and any error codes. Additionally, you can empty the water reservoir, and initiate a location tone (useful for contractors who may not be familiar with the devices location). There are several other functions which are probably only useful for contractors including chamber list, work plans, equipment list and drying data. Second, the machine has more capacity and is more efficient (i.e., removes more water from the air per KWH of electricity used) than most residential units. This unit is speced at 2.85 Liters/KWH. It is able to dry the air in almost half the time of most residential units. Third, the display is easy to use but provides a lot of info (e.g. humidity and temperature of both intake and output air).
What could be improved? Connecting or binding the unit to your network / phone is confusing. I highly recommend ONLY using the detailed instructions in the app. Do not rush the process and read EVERYTHING the app puts on the screen carefully. It may take several passes to understand what to do, but once you understand what needs to be done and do it all in a single pass, it works. Once connected though it works flawlessly. The other major con is the price. Without a doubt, it is an expensive machine. It costs about three times the price of other residential units, so I am looking for this unit to last at least 5 years in order to break even. Only time will tell if it is worth the price. While I do not normally see the value in extended warranty for most equipment, my history with dehumidifiers shows that purchasing a 3 to 4 year extended warranty is a worthwhile purchase.

We picked this up keep humidity out of our warehouse.
This dehumidifier is a serious machine that has a good weight to it.
Our warehouse is 50x60ft with 14ft ceilings and this dehumidifier runs very little to keep the humidity at bay.
The wifi is really nice and makes it convent to control the dehumidifier from anywhere.
The price is steep but it works and it works good.
We would buy again.

We got this for my husband to use on job sites.
This looked like a good for drying out basements after water leaks.
We have other dehumidifiers but this one has a very large capacity so we decided to try it.
It arrives needing the handle connected.
It took 20 mins to assemble.
We also had to download the app from the app store.
It comes with directions that are clear and easy to understand.
It seems to be made well.
The wheels roll smooth.
The handle feels very durable and strong.
The door opens and closes easily.
The housing seems to be rugged.
To test it out we took it to a jobsite that had significant water damage.
Next we used the app to monitor incoming moisture and humidity levels.
Because of the large capacity, the built in pump and included hose made it so we did not have to worry about emptying the bucket.
One nice thing, if we happened to miss it, and it did fill, it has an auto shut off when humidity levels hit our target.
We would buy this again.

The unit works well. Eliminates a ton of humidity from the air. Had an issue with mine after several months, contacted customer support and they resolved the issue very quickly. It’s so heavy but if you have a ton of humidity to remove from a large air volume, this is a great choice.
