Anyone who has had a basement flood knows what a nightmare it can be. It takes forever to clear up the water & even longer to get rid of the dampness and musty smell. Do not get me wrong, using a shop-vac helps speed up the drying out process but they never seem to get 100% of the moisture out. Well when our basement flooded again recently, I discovered the solution to that age old problem....a dehumidifier.
Once the majority of the flood water was removed, I placed this powerful dehumidifer in the center of the basement and set it to the desired temperature. Due to the size of our basement we needed something with commercial grade power, but most units with the power we were looking for were so much bigger/bulkier/heavier. So when we saw the compact size of this dehumidifier, I was skeptical about whether it would be powerful enough. I am very happy to say that it has exceeded all expectations! The size and weight make it so easy to move from one location to another. The built-in pump makes it convenient to use, you do not have to constantly check on the unit to see if it needs emptied. I love the app....it is easy to set-up, very user-friendly, and a huge bonus feature. It is surprising how removing moisture from the air can warm a room up! Overall a high quality product, I would recommend to anyone!!!!

I purchased 2 of these units and am so far very disappointed. Neither unit shows any grain depression (Input and output reads as the same #). The app does not want to work for me (I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max)

It arrived and the package was undamaged. It was not too heavy to lift and we carried it down into our basement. Set up was pretty easy once you found the application in the owners manual. That was the only issue was trying to find out how to set it up in the manuals. Once that was figured out, it was pretty easy to start the dehumidifier and let it run. Ran continuously for days until it reached the targeted dehumidifier setting. It essentially reduced our humidity by 23% in about two weeks of continuous running.

The unit is very easy to set up. I followed the simple instructions and the unit was ready to use within minutes. I downloaded the app and was able to start using the dehumidifier immediately. The app for using the dehumidifier is easy and straightforward. Being located in the Chicago area with relatively high humidity indoor humidity has been an issue. This unit works great in conjunction with the Carrier AC system to keep the humidity at 50 to 55% which is comfortable. All things considered, I am quite happy with it and I highly recommend it.

This dehumidifier is well built with the contractor in mind. The handle Jude’s nicely, and the display control is easy to use. My only complaint is that the metal grate on the front makes a little rattle noise while it’s running (both of them do the same thing). Otherwise, they give the significant brands names a run for their money! I’m also very impressed with the stability when they are stacked!

Just like its name implies, the Storm series is precisely what you'll need after a major storm (but it can also be used for daily dehumidifying.) Before buying this unit, I did a ton of research on dehumidifiers and am extremely happy with my purchase. Although this unit was expensive, I justified the price by comparing its features and reliability ratings against its competitors. The user interface on the unit is very straightforward and can be operating within seconds after plugging it in.
