This unit arrived early, packed well and ready to get to work! Love the variable speed option on this HEPA air filter. Love the activated carbon & HEPA filter. The unit is well built and can handle both residential and commercial applications. Have other Alorair products and have never had a problem with any of them. I have used this air scrubber on 3 remodel jobs and one home that needed to remove smoke and molding smell.? This item works great, I build the cost of the filters into the price of the jobs.? Also I have rented the unit out $100 for 48hrs plus the cost of a HEPA filter.? Great investment and I will get more!

It is a nice simple machine. The replacement filters are a bit pricey. For drywall we just used the prefilter. Had to change the filter & blow it out every 4 hours or so of drywall sanding. It kept the air clearer than normal, there is still dust left in the area that may have landed on any surface as usual. But the air was much more breathable. My customer was allergic to dust & had minimal problems due to the zip wall & air scrubber.

I was hesitant, but invested in my lung health. Wow, is it worth it. Stripped a lathe and plaster ceiling out of a space and could have been maskless. Get yourself some spare filters, they get used. But better there than in your lungs!
