Benefit

Adding a negative ion device to a woodworking dust collector is a concept not usually found in woodworking shops. The idea behind using negative ions (also called "anions") is to clean and freshen the air, and they are more commonly associated with air purifiers. The installation of such a device in a dust extraction system for woodworking offers the following advantages:

Improved dust collection - some advocates believe that negative ions increase the likelihood that particles in the air will clump or cluster together. If this is the case, larger clumped particles can be more easily captured by the dust collector.

Neutralize positive ions - Friction from electronic equipment, certain types of lighting and even woodworking tools can create positive ions. The influx of negative ions can help balance the number of ions in the air, which some believe has an impact on health.

Reduce odors - Negative ions can neutralize odors and reduce levels of harmful chemicals in the air. In wood workshops, especially when certain paints, adhesives or types of wood are used, there can sometimes be strong odours

Possible reduction of microbes - Some studies show that negative ions can reduce bacteria and viruses in the air. Although wood workshops are generally not a high risk for these pathogens, any additional reduction can be beneficial, especially in a closed environment.

Protection of tools, and machine property - As wood particles fly around, they form an invisible layer of dust that slowly seeps inside the equipment. This dust buildup can cause performance degradation and costly repairs later on. Using a reliable dust collector will not only help keep your tools and machinery in good condition for many years to come, but it will also prevent you from breathing in toxic substances while using your tools.

Create healthy indoor air - When enclosed areas lack proper air circulation, indoor personnel often feel sleepy, tired, inattentive, dizzy and short of breath. Using a dust collector will reduce the chances of these health risks occurring because it effectively provides adequate air circulation. However, this should be combined with other necessary efforts, such as providing windows or exhaust fans. So is staying away from unpleasant odors in your surroundings.

Increased Productivity - Workplaces are proven to be positively influenced by their good breathing atmosphere. By providing clean and safe ventilation, employees are sure to provide optimal productivity and benefit from each other's positive work ethic.

Best cleaning assistance - Thanks to its excellent features and specifications, users can be assured of having the best performance to simplify their cleaning tasks. It is portable, durable and extremely reliable when it comes to intensive cutting and planning woodworking projects.

Disease prevention - Dust collectors help prevent harmful substances such as wood dust from breeding in your home or office, which poses various health risks such as allergies, skin irritation, respiratory illnesses, immune-related diseases, dengue fever and malaria.

More importantly, It has reliable one-year warranty coverage, which you can also view on our website. For additional inquiries, please feel free to contact any of our customer service representatives. We would be happy to help you make a decision based on your restoration needs.

Application

Are you still struggling with a dirty work environment where dust and debris are constantly rising up, disrupting your work and potentially causing respiratory illness?

Purecare has a solution for you with a 360-degree air intake design with a powerful motor and an air filtration system that doesn't miss particles and contaminants in every corner. Mounted above the ceiling to save floor space normally used by portable air purifiers. This unit will definitely improve air quality in wood turning, sanding, sawing and cutting environments.

Circulation: By constantly circulating moving room air, the Purecare 1350IG can circulate air 13 times an hour in a 400 sq. ft. room, turning the muddiest areas clean and comfortable.

Extraction: In crowded or poorly ventilated rooms that can cause drowsiness, oxygen deprivation and respiratory infections, the Purecare 1350IG unit is equipped with a powerful turbo fan that works to create a strong airflow and a 360 air intake system that draws in large amounts of contaminated air, ensuring that the room is constantly filled with clean air.

Creation: Built-in Ionizer allows the air filtration system to produce trace amounts of ozone to neutralize harmful pollutants and odors during operation, while the charged negative ions it releases easily trap harmful particles in the air, and you will inhale fresher air and exhale a calmer mind.

Flexibility: The infrared remote control easily adjusts the airflow speed of Purecare 1350IG in various areas of the room to meet different working needs. The most popular feature is the timer, so you can leave whenever you want without worrying about the machine running, and the unit will continue to perform cleaning operations for the time you set - up to 9 hours.

Tips for making the most of your air filtration system
1. Clean and replace filters regularly to keep them working efficiently
2. Place or hang in the middle of the workshop without obstructing the angle of airflow

Installation & Fixing Method
1: Hang 4 eyebolts from the ceiling
2: Fix the machine on the wall with 4 M4 screws

Great Product

Works great. We use is in a 900 sq shop and it does the job. Have it placed on a bench and exhausting upward because I really do not think I would like the downward flow. I really do not feel it is noisy as other have said, it is an air cleaner for a shop, not an air purifier for your home.

Works exactly as we hoped it would

We have had this unit for several days now, and it is working as we intended it to. We are using it to bring the heated air from our warehouse ceiling, and ducting it down into 3 offices. We plan to duct it differently in the future, but wanted to see if the concept worked first - and it does. Now we don not have to use electric space heaters in the offices. It is nice that it filters the air too. The unit came with all the needed brackets and chains, although we used our own to make our specific application work.
Works as described.

Powerful whole-room filter - loud. But I can not find replacement filters.

This draws air in from all four sides and then blows it out the bottom - or top, depending on how you mount it. There is mounts on the top and bottom. But it is loud - as loud as a shop-vac. You literally can not have a conversation if standing within a few feet of this. But since it draws from all four sides, it scrubs the air of dust fast. Since it also has an ionizer, even extremely fine particles are removed. I have one of those ubiquitous white air cleaners hanging in my garage. The metal in this is several times thicker. If I punched the white one, it would dent. If I punched this one, I would damage my hand. Not that I would do that - I baby my tools. So far I have spent a couple of hours looking for replacement filters (Jan 2023) and can not find them - not even on the manufacturers site. Because of the odd size, I can not find generics. 13.2"x9.5"x1.5", with a foam gasket around the sides. That is a really unusual size. On the positive, these are pretty heavy duty and can be blown-out several times. I did that with my other make until the filter finally fell apart. Quality and volume cleaned, 5 stars. Noise? 3 stars. Lack of filters? You decide.
