We love our dehumidifier, and it's not noisy. Also, it works great, and we have it in the damp basement. It works great, and it took my humidity from 70% to 40%. After some dusty work was done, I had to clean the filter, but it was super easy and still works great.

My friend owns an HVAC business that recommended this dehumidifier to me a year ago, and I finally followed up on it. I wish I would've done it right because it made such a huge difference in how nice and dry the air feels when you walk in the basement now. No more musky smell! I was surprised by how much moisture/water this thing started pulling out of the air shortly after plugging in the little clear drain hose was full and dumping in the sump pit—excellent quality. Money WELL Spent!

This dehumidifier can extract moisture from the air incredibly fast, and it fits perfectly in my basement. Super convenient and effective. I purchased a different dehumidifier at first, but it did nothing to help. So, I returned it and ordered this dehumidifier. It works well, and it brings down the humidity pretty significantly. We have been running the Alorair dehumidifier for only two days, and there is a marked improvement. It works great! It has eliminated the musty odor and other smells coming from the unfinished basement and appears to help the HVAC work more efficiently. I bought this unit primarily because it allows you to add ducting and a remote control unit. I have an approximately 600 square foot main basement with utility rooms on each end. I can place it in one of the utility rooms and duct it back to the main room with this unit. And when we leave for extended times, we can leave the utility door open. I like that the remote is working off the humidity in the room instead of at the intake of the dehumidifier, and it is also easy to monitor. The unit also comes with a clear hose, which I find helpful to see water being removed. Well done!
