Benefits
Freshen indoor air - If you're tired of smelly basements, you should install a ventilation fan. Ventilation fans help you keep the air inside your home fresh by removing airborne contaminants such as ammonia and other odor-causing chemicals to eliminate odors.

Prevents mold contamination - Mold and viruses can easily thrive in dark spaces. AlorAir crawl space ventilation fans keep your basement cool and dry with 260 CFM airflow. Especially if your basement has no windows, it can renew the air inside.

Helps bathroom cleaning - It is difficult to clean a bathroom thoroughly if there are always contaminants in the air. Installing a ventilation fan helps keep the bathroom clean and dust-free because it helps suck up dust and dirt from countertops and floors.

Cost Saving - Our high-power ventilation fans are compact and portable, and can increase air circulation in any room. This means you can install it in any space you need to dehumidify at the moment, and our panels can be trimmed to match non-standard foundation openings.

Application
When there is an air inlet in the crawl space and an air outlet in the attic, air will enter through the crawl space, preheat, then rise through the house and exit through the attic. This process will continue to repeat as long as you have air inlets in your crawl space. Crawl space vents usually cause a lot of moisture to accumulate, they also tend to cause a lot of mold and mildew, and pests leave their droppings throughout the crawl space. Essentially, crawl spaces will bring anything that can be airborne (sometimes including feces and mold spores) into your living space.

AlorAir Underground Ventilation System will easily solve your problem with its knob control and easy operation. It supports a 5-80%RH control range and can work in 35-158°F temperatures. The fan is equipped with a powerful motor that can move up to 2400-3600 CU.FT. It is also energy efficient and quiet with a noise level of less than 40 dBA.

Improve air circulation: Stagnant air causes mold, steam, and heat... and accelerates paint and wall peeling. VentirPro 260 three-blade, high-speed fan powerfully eliminates poor-quality air sources, recirculates your indoor air, and brings in fresh, oxygen-rich air from outside.

Reduce housing pollution: Attics or basements often accumulate debris and gather a lot of dust and debris, which not only pollutes the house but also causes respiratory diseases. Ventilation fan's uninterrupted work can greatly enhance ventilation and dryness, keeping your home clean and cool.

Reduce indoor humidity: When installed in bathrooms and crawl spaces, ventilation fans serve to draw out stagnant, humid air, a process that helps prevent moisture buildup and reduces indoor humidity levels with the help of dehumidifiers, improving comfort.

Proper Use and Maintenance
INSTALLATION MATTERS: Crawlspace fans must be installed in electrical control boxes and motors facing inside the crawlspace.
1. Confirm that the doors and vent covers of the buildings around the installation are open.

2. In order to ensure the stable installation of the crawling space ventilator, it is necessary to mark four points on the wall to confirm the installation position.

3. Install the crawl space ventilation fan to the wall with 4 screws and observe the horizontal direction of the fan.

4. Note: If the mounting surface is a base block or brick. Before the fan is installed, a 5/16-inch hole needs to be drilled with a masonry drill bit. Install wall anchors at the openings and secure them.

If installed on a mesh of wood aggregate, edge joists, or existing crawlspace vents, secure crawl space vents with screws, washers, and nuts at the four corners of the metal panel of the vent.

Much needed for my old house

From the Amazon

By 'James A. Woolsey', Reviewed on May 21, 2023
There are no vents along the foundation to this 100 year old house. When I had some flooding in the basement I had to cut a new vent in and run contractor fans to move the air out. This is a good ready-to-install vent fan, but I will still have to crawl way back to mount it inside to blow out. Is the direction reversible? I would mount it outside if so. As it is I will cut in an access door in a corner of a room. I hate crawling. If this is going back in a crawl space you will need to run an extension cord or mount an outlet; I took off one star for "easy to install" although that is not the fault of this fan unit!
Moves alot of air!

My crawlspace has been a bit musty (stale). I put it on a wifi outlet so I could set controlled timers that kick it on automatically on a schedule and it has made a difference in just a week.
Great for a shed or smaller space for controlling moisture. Not bug or rain proof.

I have installed this on our shed - it is 12x12 feet. It is often left closed up for weeks at a time, so moisture buildup is a real issue, especially in the summer. I have vents in two walls for some circulation, but it is not enough. I decided to install a fan - I did not want one of those huge attic fans, but something I could mount on an upper area of a wall between the 2x4s. This worked great. Since the portion facing outside is basically open, rain and any bug under 1/4" can get in. We have a playhouse as a 2nd story with a small balcony - I positioned it beneath the balcony - that solved the rain issue. As for bugs, I made a wood box with an open end, covered it in screen and screwed it over the opening. I could have put a screen right opening, but that would really reduce airflow. Bug intrusion is always an issue with these fans. I am not a fan of louvers - they direct the air down (can be annoying) and typically stop working after a couple of years. For a smaller fan, this really cranks out some volume. The humidity difference is noticeable after just 10 minutes or so. Plus it makes a nice cross-breeze when working in the shed.
Solid construction, subpar airflow

While this product is built nicely and seems sturdy, the fan is lacking. I can hardly feel the airflow on full blast, it is so light. For its intended function, it would do a very poor job unless you had a bunch of these going simultaneously. Add a better fan and we would have something usable.
Humidity controlled fan, cycles to maintain humidity setting

I like that this fan has a humidity level controller builtin. The low noise fan can not be heard from inside the house. All stainless frame is damp location rated. Standard outlet plug makes electrical installation plug and play for easy installation. The humidity setting dial is easy to read set for the level you want to control to.

Strong Fan with Only One Speed, Dial is for Humidity

From the Amazon

This crawl space fan stands out in its category with a larger fan size and substantial airflow. Unlike the typical smaller and slower models, this fan is capable of quickly changing the air in a crawl space. The build quality of the unit is exceptional. Both the fan plate and control box are crafted entirely from stainless steel. The package also includes stainless steel mounting hardware, providing screws and bolts with nuts to accommodate various installation scenarios. The unit incorporates a dial to set the relative humidity (RH) level at which the fan will activate. Once the set RH level is reached, the fan automatically switches on and continues running until the sensor detects an RH level below your set point. Continuous operation can be set by simply adjusting the dial to zero. It is worth noting that this fan lacks a speed control feature. It operates solely at full speed until the preset RH level is achieved. This might be seen as a drawback for those who desire quieter operation or lower airflow. For example, this fan is probably not suitable for an air sealed/encapsulated crawl spaces because it will create too much negative air pressure. The lack of a speed control feature feels like a missed opportunity by the manufacturer. Being able to modulate the fan speed, and thus the noise level, would have been a valuable addition and made it more versatile. In terms of noise levels, the fan is not silent, but it is not overly loud either. It is audible when activated, but not to the point of causing distractions within the house. For comparison, I tested Alorair larger 540 CFM model and found it significantly louder, almost to the point of being untenable due to the noise. If you are choosing between this model and the larger one, and noise is a concern, I would recommend this quieter 260 CFM model. In terms of value for money, the price is quite reasonable, particularly considering the substantial airflow the fan provides. Overall, it is a sound choice for those seeking a powerful fan with RH control capabilities. However, bear in mind the lack of speed control and the associated noise levels before making your decision.

This is an excellent small vent fan for many many types of spaces where humidity build up. This unit has a dial on it so you can dial in the exact humidity you want it to kick on at. Also you can turn the dial to always on or always off. This unit has a nice stainless mounting flange with hardware for different setups. You can use this in attics, crawl spaces and so many other areas where it is not good for humidity to build up. This fan is built very well and a great value.

High-quality vent fan. Works really well. Extremely high powered. I do not understand how to use it fully yet but I can tell by how well the fan blows that it will work great ! Would recommend.
