Proper Use and Maintenance Every dehumidifier needs proper usage and maintenance to support its long-lasting capability. Here are some safety tips in using and maintaining it:
• Before using it, keep it steady in an upright position for about 30 minutes to allow the refrigerant and other internal components to settle
• If the unit is newly delivered, let it settle for about 12 hours before using it
• Make sure that your desired area is well-sealed by either shutting all windows, vents, or using other barriers
• It must be connected to a grounded electric source to avoid accidents and damage

• It is not suggestible to use an extension cord as well as a power adaptor
• Use the control panel or remote to set your desired level of humidity

• Remember to check the inlet and outlet for any blockages

• You may use a foaming coil cleanser for cleaning the coils
• Confirm that the cords are cleaned from any debris and is properly wrapped and secured for storage
• Make sure to properly dry it before storing

We got this unit just as we expected and unpacked it, and it's pretty compact. We placed it in our basement to address the damp problem. I have to say it really did an excellent job. It drew the humidity level down just in a few hours and let it continuously run for several days so I could feel the differences. The basement indeed becomes dryer and fresher.

This unit is much smaller and compact than the conventional basement-size dehumidifier on the market, and it can remove 120 pints of water from our basement air per day. In addition, it also can use as a commercial application. So, I applied it in my restaurant to dry the damp floor, and it did a really excellent job, no more slippy floor! By the way, our regular customers all feel the air in the restaurant become fresher.

After a lot of research into crawlspace dehumidifiers, Alorair seemed to come up as one of the leading manufacturers. I have a medium sized crawlspace, but the pretty small access hatch left me limited on how big of a machine I could buy. This one specs out as too small for my square footage, but it was the only one that could fit through the 13" high access hatch. I gave it a whirl and it's doing the job. Granted, I installed it at the tail end of the humid summer season. Within a day though, it dropped the crawlspace humidity from 70% down to the 50% level that I set it to.

We bought this dehumidifier for my 1054 sq ft basement. It was 78% humidity and smelled musty when I set it up and was just very uncomfortable. The basement was unused due to how uncomfortable it was for me to use. Now with my dehumidifier running, it holds the humidity at 52%, and after a good cleaning, the room is much more comfortable and smells better. I will now be able to use the space instead of ignoring it, and now I have this great space to be my craft area/office. All thanks to a dehumidifier.

I've had this unit for a couple of months now. I purchased this dehumidifier with the intention of personal comfort and protecting my wooden instruments. For these instruments, consistent humidity conditions matter. I definitely can practice in the same room with this dehumidifier while it's running, even though I'd probably turn it off for that period. Unlike the beast in the basement, it doesn't seem to have a frequency I can easily hear that interferes with intonation. Adding this unit to my main floor has made me completely comfortable, and when I go to tune my instruments, they're not very far off from the last time I tuned—five stars for that result.

Very nice product for the price point. Seems a little heavy for the size, but that's probably because we are used to all of our dehu's being on wheels. Nice control panel and will fit well in almost any crawl space. It’s compact, amazingly quiet, and the unit is working perfectly and getting the job done!

This is compact. Great for crawlspace. I am using this is in my crawl space. Surprisingly quiet! I was worried about being able to hear this from inside but it is much quieter than I anticipated. Glad I got the built-in pump because I ended up needing to use it in this way. The pump is automatic. Sturdy machine and comes with a warranty. I have recently removed mold and mildew from the crawlspace and was needing a commercial-grade dehu quickly to dry up the crawl space and keep it that way. So I’m glad it arrived when it was supposed to. I can’t speak yet for longevity, but so far am very well pleased.

Dropped humidity under the house from 99% to 75% within the first few days. Very quiet. It cannot be heard in the place once it is in the crawlspace. Very easy to use. This little machine does a fantastic job！This is such a cute and modern machine! I highly recommend it if you require a new dehumidifier! It fits perfectly in our newly remodeled home!

This is a great dehu that gives you the option to use in regular spaces as well as tight spaces like crawl spaces or smaller contained areas. Great design for drain line as it bolts in insures it does not come out. Quality built and lightweight. We use this on all of our flood damage jobs.
