The Storm SLGR 1250X dehumidifier worked better than I expected. We put it in the big solarium, and it really absorbs the humidity of northern Michigan at night. When the night heat finally dissipated, we closed the windows and opened the Storm SLGR 1250X. Humidity began to drop immediately, and it was cool and comfortable when I got up in the morning, and the humidity was about 30%. The noise level is tolerable and easy to manipulate. It only took a week, so I can’t comment on energy efficiency. Would definitely recommend it.

I like this unit very much. Indeed did what should be done. Our beachfront apartment has high humidity. Storm SLGR 1250X reduces humidity from 80% to 50%. The device comes with a drain hose and a built-in pump. Easy to move. No assembly required. I highly recommend this.

If you are allergic to mold, this is for you. I live in an apartment, and the washing machine and dryer are in the closet, and there is no good ventilation system. I always have to open the windows, but the room is still humid. I also have some woodwind instruments and need to adjust the humidity very carefully. After moving into the new home, we purchased a Storm SLGR 1250X dehumidifier for the basement. The basement has been completely remodeled, with three rooms and a large open space, totaling 3,000 feet. After we found mold growing in one of the closets, we knew that the small dehumidifier was not working properly. Therefore, we decided to try this commercial dehumidifier. Yes, the price is much higher than the regular size, but it can be used. The bottom of the machine is equipped with wheels and the design is very good. love it!
