My original intention of buying this blower was to use it as a "fan" to move air in the apartment but found it has more uses. I can put it anywhere and blow it where I point. This moves a lot of air. Before you experience the speed of carpet drying, I don't know how much convenience it would be to own one of these blowers. It also has other uses. There is not enough air circulation throughout the house, and our standard tower fan cannot blow more hot air. That was when I took it out.
