Compressor seems to stopped working? Storm Pro

Back to List
I went to the basement location this Storm Pro is installed, and after hearing it run for several hours I decided to look at the screen (see attached pic). Input RH in the room was 73%, output RH was 72%, and the unit was set to 55%. It never went lower than the 72%. I think the compressor stopped working? Can I open a claim submission?

Hi John,

It is recommended that the humidity be set to CO mode, and then check whether there is dehumidification after running for 1 hour.

I set the unit to CO mode and let it run an hour, there was no real change from 72% RH. The coil temp was 46 F which was the ambient temp of the room, so the coil was not freezing over. It feels like all the coolant has leaked out of the compressor.

Hi John,

It could be a refrigerant leak or other system fault that should be dealt with in accordance with the customer service conditions.

Ok I will create a claim submission, thank you
