Sentinel HS35 fan runs continuously

I installed a Sentinel HS35 a few days ago in my encapsulated crawlspace. Conditions at install were 57% humidity and 55-60 degrees F. I set the control knob at 50% and the unit seems to work correctly, with the humidity now stable at 45% (on a separate meter). The defrost cycle seems to work fine as well. My question is whether it is normal for the fan to run all the time? The fan has run continuously for 48 hours since the unit was turned on. Thanks

Hi Patrick, it is normal for the fan to run all the time during the defrost cycle, but when the ambient humidity is less than the set humidity the fan stops running after the compressor stops running with a 3-minute. If your fan is faulty, please contact our customer service support@alorair.com.
