Our basement is large but very humid. I purchased this product to alleviate some moisture problems until we complete the repair. The moisture that the dehumidifier removes from the air is crazy. Great dehumidifier. My basement no longer has that musty smell, it looks much drier now. It runs very quietly and the air filter is very good, I can remove it and clean it. It is more expensive than other dehumidifiers, but after using it for a while, I am hooked on it!
