Do not order from this company. I had originally ordered an their air scrubber from Amazon, which arrived used and damaged. Return was in order there. I proceeded to order directly from aloair thinking that would be a better. The air scrubber that was then delivered by Aloair arrived used and damaged. It was obvious the scrubber had been used for harmful materials. After inadvertently exposing my family twice to whatever harmful materials these scrubbers were used for I am over their products. Customer service is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Every day they have been giving me the run around about someone coming to pick this machine up cause at this point I'm now not exposing my car, etc to the material. For days "someone" was picking it up. So far that has not happened. This is a TERRIBLE company to deal with. I'll be filling a claim with the Better Business Bureau and anywhere else I can to warn people. Also, I can't reiterate enough how much their scustomer support sucks...I might as well be dealing with an AI chatbot with how useful they are.

The black powder found inside the unit is activated carbon from the filter, not a hazardous substance. In some cases, a small amount of activated carbon may be released during transportation due to the filter material, but it does not pose a safety risk.
