Over the last few months I have my dehumidifier in the crawlspace  set to 50%...it just keeps running and never get to 50%

I took it apart and cleaned it except the drain pan (The unit wasnt really that dirty). so I didnt bother with the pan.

The RH levels in the app dont seem right to me......RH in 61% RH out is 59%

Any thoughts?

Hi Mike,

How much is the environmental room used by guests? Is it airtight? Give the ambient temperature and humidity, and set the machine at CO to run continuously for 6 hours to check drainage and determine if dehumidification is normal.

It's a encapsulated crawlspace...so very little traffic, and air tight. 

As of right now....

Temp (IN) is 69

Temp (OUT) is 73

I will check drainage but its been running for a couple days not stop and there no water leaking or anything.

I have the unit set to 50% and it never gets there.......it has in the past.

Should I clean out the pan? 

Can I set to run in the app or do I have to do it at the unit?

Hi Mike,

After running the machine for 20 minutes, please provide the humidity value and the temperature of the cooling coil on the screen to check if the machine works normally, thank you!

Sorry for the delay on this.....this machine is still having issues.....I will get you some readings later on today!

So after running for 20 minutes or so.....when the humidity is set to 50% ......the display reads as follows...

 

the inlet is 70 degrees and humidity is 58%

the outlet is 73 degrees and humidity is 54%

coil temp is 73 degrees 

 

this doesn't seem right...what are my options to fix?

Any thoughts on next steps....I would love to resolve this issue.
