Considering the longevity of the dehumidifier and mostly the compressor. What should be an acceptable cycles per hour in a crawl space set to 54? 1-2 cycles per hour?

Hi Michale,
What does this period number mean? There is no problem if the service life of the compressor is more than 5 years.

I'm looking for what is acceptable for the on off cycles per hour. How many times should it turn on and off in one hour. 
I'm having problems with the unit only running for 10 min then turning off.

Hi Michael,

Under what circumstances does it stop running every 10 minutes? For example, if the humidity is lower than the set value -3, it switches off, and if it is higher than the set value +3, it switches on? What is the ambient temperature? May I ask which model of appliance you are using?
