LG Storm no longer dehumidifies. according to multimeter, compressor and capacitor are OK. What do I check next?

Back to List

The unit was running for several weeks flawlessly and was set to 35percent.  It was keeping the room at that level.  Next time I checked, it was still SET at 35, but humidity was nearly 60percent.  It was no longer blowing out hot air (as usual) but was blowing cold air.  Filter and coil look like new.

It sounds like the compressor is running.  Does it have any way of indicating a low level of freon?  Does the compressor keep running or shut down if there is a leak?

Please advise
